Just arrived back from few days in East Gippsland. Bairnsdale is a beautiful town on the doorsteps of the Gippsland Lakes system. It is a truly scenic jewel positioned between the steppes of the Great Divide and the Bass Strait with the meandering Mitchell River nearby making it's way to Lake King at Eagles Pt near Paynesville

You can hire a yacht or boat home and travel on the lakes system ..it is just magnificent
