Arrived back today from Emergency Medicine course...I never get used to that humidity in Sydney.
Met some great people there..Phil from Auckland...Oliver from UK now Auckland...Christian from Hong Kong via Vienna...Brenton from Melbourne...Lee Anne from Toowoomba and Nicki from Waikato in NZ
Course was full on ...some of the guys expressed need for some super sessions...but it was first Emergency one organised..next should be better
Phil Watt is a scream...soooooooooo gay. He runs San Francisco Specialist Surgery Referral Service ( he is an ex pat Qlandr). He fractured his ulna doin house renovations in US and a poof with his arm in cast is like a seagull with a broken wing...I used to kill myself laughing a the numerous attempts he made unsuccessfully to put both hands on his hips...and then hed remember he had a cast.
Mum's friend Maria was found...she is THE WOMAN IN THE BOOT.
It seems she has sustained brainstem damage from strangulation and encarceration in boot.
She was like my mums daughter after my owne siter moved to Syd yrs ago.
She was a hard working, very religious woman ....her plight seems so unfair..our thoughts and prayers are for her and her family..they did not deserve this tragedy in their young lives
On a brighter note Young Harrison turned 5 yo on Friday...he is such a live wire
Spoke to Benny Mazz on 2FL's ....he seems to be recovering from his Trans Global Tour...no doubts the EFD will have been primed into overload..look forward to hearing about it
