For 3 weeks from mid to last week in August , my home is host to this floral display.
As I pass by this tree every evening, prunus scent wafts delightfully around me
And in 6 weeks we will eat her tart fruit..cant wait

Tis quicker than our builders, to produce the finished fruit in 6 weeks. Wonder if we'll have our windows in by then

I didn't know that prunus fruit was edible !
Blossoms are holding on longer this year...bees are active...neighbour has bee hive...Cheating hey..hehe
And yes the litttle plum/cherry are a great delicacy often stolen i the depths of evening by marauding possums who traverse our power lines to get to them..isn't nature wonderful...they travel from several blocks away all by tightroping on power lines...seen it myself ..
